After reading about Latin and Rebus Gestis and all the cool stuff we do, you may be thinking, “That’s so totally wicked!!!! How can I get involved?” or “How can I help them out?” Well, here are some ideas…
Are you a Parent/Guardian/Relative/Friend/Other? Then Consider:
~Buying a super cool vintage Latin shirt(s)!!!! (See below!) They’re AWESOME!!!!
~Donating time and/or money and/or materials!
Rebus Gestis and the Leon Latin program always appreciate your help! Have you taken Latin or Greek in the past and still have some of your textbooks or study materials? Do you have any books on any sort of Classical subject that you’d be willing to donate so that young people can grow from the knowledge? Then please donate your books; they will be put to good use!
It has been a longtime dream to purchase a display case for our State trophies. If you happen to have any large display cases that you would be willing to part with, or money that you would be willing to donate to the cause, then please talk to us and let’s just say that you would make a lot of people super excited! Donations can also be used towards funding scholarships to help students in need be able to compete at the State Forum!
Events such as State and Regionals are always in need of parent volunteers to act as chaperones and to fulfill other necessary duties. Consider donating your time to help kids pursue the love of learning and Latin!

Do you live where you are unable to go to Leon High School? Then:
~Move to the Leon school zone! Enjoy Florida’s sunny weather, awesome Leon Latin events, beaches, Leon Latin events, cool museums, the Capitol Building, Leon Latin stuff, local gourmet food, awesome Leon Latin events (did we already say that?), football, Leon Latin… Okay, okay, we won’t really make you do that, but…
~On a more serious note, see if your school has a Latin program! If not, never fear! Pick up a book at your local library on Latin, Greek, Latin or Greek Literature, ancient Greek or Roman history, life in ancient Rome, etc… If you’d like, email us for suggestions! Also, check out some of our links!
Do you go to Leon High School here in Tallahassee, Florida, or will you be going there next year (or sometime in the near-future)?
~Then take Latin at Leon, for heaven’s sake! It’s super duper amazing! To put it simply, you’ll learn a ton.

~If you’re already in Latin, then keep up the good work! Study well for tests and quizzes! Become an officer! Buy candy (proceeds support the club)! Participate in competition! Go to club events! Support your fellow students! Have fun!

(“Salve?!?" you say? That’s hello in Latin! Cool mnemonic, eh? You can call them whatever you want though.)

Talk to a teacher/sponsor about prices and what's available (they're inexpensive, ultra cool!). Please note that there may be limited numbers and sizes depending on which shirt(s) you are interested in; the shirts below may become unavailable. Good luck pursuing your dream of cool-shirtedness!
